Who we are.

The Lighthouse Community church is affiliated with the Shelby Baptist Association, the Alabama Baptists, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We gladly take part in the cooperative program and are committed to its mission to keep missionaries on the field. We hold to the Baptist Faith and Message 2008 (see link above). We were planted in 2002 and have grown every year since. We are committed to being a church that centers on the person and work of Jesus Christ, to worship in a casual manner where everyone can come as they are, and display a compassion for the community that makes them want to know more about Christ and His church.
