Who we are.
 
     The Lighthouse Community church is affiliated with the Shelby Baptist Association, the Alabama Baptists, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We gladly take part in the Visit the SBC Cooperative Program and are committed to its mission to keep missionaries on the field. We hold to the Baptist Faith & Message. We were planted in 2002 and have grown every year since. We are committed to being a church that centers on the person and work of Jesus Christ, to worship in a casual manner where everyone can come as they are, and display a compassion for the community that makes them want to know more about Christ and His church.

Being connected to a small group of growing people is integral to your own growth. We have Life Groups that meet in homes throughout the community at various times of the week. To sign up for a group simply go to the Life Groups page and contact one of the leaders listed. If you are unsure of what group is right we can help with that too. The truth is you are not intended to walk your faith journey alone. Take the next step and join with others struggling with the same things you are and enjoying the same victories.
